Dr. Adam English, D.O., FAAFP, is a distinguished graduate of the University of Memphis and Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. With a passion for excellence in patient care, he completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Family Medicine in Jackson TN, where he was honored as Chief Resident and Intern of the Year.
Holding a current Tennessee Medical License, Dr. English has an extensive background in family and sports medicine. He served as a trusted physician for the University of Memphis Football Team from 2016 to 2019, providing expert medical support to athletes. Committed to giving back to his community, he has volunteered for organizations such as LeBonheur Student Athletes, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life.
In addition to his role as a qualified family physician, Dr. English has pursued specialized training in aesthetic and medspa procedures. Certified by Aesthetic Medical Educators Training, Incorporated in 2020, he is proficient in the use, administration, and complication management of neuromodulators such as Botox and Dysport, as well as injectable dermal fillers.
As the medical director of Elevate Wellness and Medspa, Dr. English collaborates closely with owner, Stacey Whalley FNP-BC, to ensure the highest standards of safety, efficacy, and compliance in aesthetic and wellness treatments are provided to valued clients, performance athletes, and wellness minded individuals in the West Tennessee area through services provided at Elevate Wellness and Medspa.
Outside of his professional endeavors, he finds joy in family life with his wife, Ginger, and their two children. As a couple, they enjoy traveling together, supporting their daughter Morgan in her college soccer career at Mississippi State University and their son Drew who is a multisport student-athlete for the varsity football and soccer teams at University School of Jackson. Dr. English is also an avid golfer and has even served as a PGA tour tournament physician for the St. Jude Golf Championship.
With 18 years of experience as a physician at Brownsville Family of Medicine, Dr. English now proudly serves as co-owner and director of Brownsville Family Medicine in Brownsville, Tennessee, where he continues his full-time commitment to providing compassionate and comprehensive healthcare to his patients.
